Organix for Dietary Supplements adds two production lines with investments of EGP 15 mn this year

Organix for the production of nutritional supplements invested about EGP 15 mn at the beginning of this year to increase the production capacity of the company.

Mohamed Anwar, General Manager of Organix for Food Supplements, said that the company has added two production lines for tablets and capsules, with a production capacity of 10 tonnes.

Anwar added that the company is negotiating during the current period with several importers from the countries of the Arab Gulf region to export some products during 2022.

He explained that Organix participates permanently in external exhibitions to research marketing for its products, which positively affects the company's exports.

Anwar expected the nutritional supplement market to grow during the coming period, due to the recent increase in demand for it to strengthen immunity, especially with the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus pandemic.

He pointed out that awareness of the importance of nutritional supplements has recently increased among citizens, as they are beneficial to the body and have no harm, which prompts the company to set ambitious plans for growth in the future.

Anwar added that raw materials and production inputs constitute a major obstacle to companies operating in the sector, noting that the most important challenges facing the company are the slowdown in procedures and the increase in requirements from the Industrial Development Authority.
