Happy Sweet Food Industries aims to enter 4 new markets this year.
Mona Salama, an export official in the company, said that Happy Sweet plans to export to France, the United States of America, Mauritania, and Ethiopia during the coming period.
Salama told Commodity Market that the company will start exporting its products to the German market during the current month.
She explained that Happy Sweet represents the parent company of the Kamara Group, and two companies emerge from it, namely Al-Eqtisadiah for Food Industries and Fly Group for Trading, which is the group's distribution arm, in addition to its continuous expansion in the fields of import, export and commercial agencies.
Salama pointed out that Happy Sweets is exporting to all Arab countries, in addition to several African countries, including Senegal, Kenya, Somalia, and South Africa, and it produces nearly 100 items, while Al-Eqtisadiah produces about 50 items.
She added that the company's exports amount to 50% of the total production, and Happy Sweet seeks to increase it during 2022.
Salama pointed out that the company plans to add new production lines to keep pace with the demand for products locally and abroad, and is conducting extensive studies to expand its investments, to support its export opportunities and access to major global markets.
Regarding the importance of external exhibitions, she said that they are the first and most important steps to open foreign markets, as it enables companies to meet their customers face to face, to identify the most prominent needs and determine the conditions of the target markets, which contributes significantly to increasing exports.
