The products of the Emirati Fujairah Plastic Industries company have reached 58 countries around the world, and the company aims to expand this customer base in the Arab countries, as well as the countries of the African continent.
Khalid Al-Kaabi, Chairman of Fujairah Plastic Industries Company, said that the company worked successfully during the past year to reach more than 58 countries around the world.
Al-Kaabi explained that the company has acquired many clients in most of the Arab world markets, in which the company has been operating over the past 40 years, as the company has developed a plan to increase the volume of cooperation and expand the number of clients.
Al-Kaabi added that the company is working to build new relationships with the help of the work team, by committing to preserving the good name of the group and developing it to include future generations as well, expecting continued growth rates during the current year.
"We hope that the prices of oil and raw materials will decrease or at least continue to be stable for the remainder of the year," he said as he demanded that manufacturers should continue production operations to cover market demand.
He also said that the company is making every effort to push the market to new horizons of innovation and technological progress, and to provide the needs of companies operating in the food industry sector.
Fujairah Plastic Industries Company produces plastic bags of all kinds as well as flexible packaging used to preserve foods of all kinds. The company pioneers’ technologies such as d2w to make the bags oxo-biodegradable, i.e. environmentally friendly, and also d2p to make the bags antibacterial and antiviral such as COVID-19 and others.
He added that there are some challenges faced by companies at the global level, most notably the high prices of freight and raw materials, noting that these crises affected the company by between 20-30%.
He explained that the company deals with a consumer product that depends on consumable, which makes it extremely crucial to continue production, but the downside is that the final increase in the cost would in a lot of cases be borne by the consumer.
Al-Kaabi stressed that the global market is going through an uncertain period, as the company has been working in this field for 40 years, and for the first time we are witnessing a difference in prices weekly, in addition to the shortage of raw materials that are requested from suppliers, noting that the company has met with companies of raw material suppliers and they do not have any information about market and price stability.
He stressed that the company is seeking to expand the base of cooperation with Egyptian companies from all governorates, expecting the situation to return to normal as soon as possible, and everyone must take the vaccine and follow the precautionary measures required to speed up this process.
Al-Kaabi stressed that the company's sales rose last year at the global, Emirati, and Egyptian market levels, after increasing and supporting production by adding European machines with new technologies to produce the best quantity and quality.
He explained that the company owns four factories, all in the United Arab Emirates, and the company intends to inject new investments after the stability of the global market and make expansions in the current factories to always ensure the quality of production and the happiness of those who deal with it with pre-and after-sales services.
In the same context, Emad Saeed, Operations Manager of the Printing and Packaging Sector at the Company, said that Gulf Food is one of the most important international exhibitions that connects food producers with all agencies working in food manufacturing services of all kinds, including machine manufacturers, packaging lines and others.
Regarding the Egyptian market, Al-Kaabi said, "The Egyptian market is a good and blessed market."
He explained that the Egyptian market is one of the important markets for the Fujairah Plastic company, as it is a vital market and all companies operating in it enjoy flexibility, in light of the Egyptian government's support for import and export, and the increase in trade exchange, especially between Arab countries.
