Salem said that the company puts as a priority to expand in African markets; due to big chance there, nonetheless, it needs government support to penetrate such a market, especially that of landlocked countries, e.g. Uganda, Burundi, and Kenya.

Regarding countries the company exported there for the first time ever, he mentioned that the company made a success in exporting to Bahrain and Pakistan.

Salem unveiled that the company achieved EGP 100m of exports in 2020, and it aims to raise this number to 150 during the current year 2021.

He added that the group is targeting to present new products to the market during 2020, and commence its beverage product line; to increase sales and alleviate production capacities. The current production capacity of the company stands now at 25 tonnes per year.

Salem noted: “COVID-19 caused difficulties at shipping to some countries; as result of land road clusters, shipping delays and rising costs, in addition to the increasing cost of raw materials, labour reduction, and the less work shifts during curfew.”

“Even with all these variables now, the company’s stance is still at its aim to meet market demand and trying to open new markets and fulfil market needs to keep on achieving the company's targets and ambitions,” he said.

The company is keen to participate in exhibits inside and outside the country; due to their importance in promoting its products, the chance to make more personal meetings with the largest possible number of clients, and the Gulf  Food exhibit includes clients from around all over the world
